Why I'm Going Silent for 75 Days (and What I'm Building)

The Why

We can all list reasons why a reset like this would be good. For me, it's personal.

For too long, I’ve worried too much about what others think. I’ve gone out of my way to please people and put my own life on hold. I’ve let distractions steal my attention. I’ve shelved my goals. I’ve spent too much money chasing the next thing, but never felt satisfied or at peace.

And truthfully — God hasn’t been first in my life. I’ve put people and things above Him, and it always leaves me feeling empty. That’s changing now.

The Next 75 Days

So what does this challenge look like, practically?

  • Read 10 pages a day

  • Read my Bible

  • Journal

  • Set aside at least 10 minutes to pray

  • Work out (3 days on, 1 day off)

  • Record a video / document something

  • Work on my future (website, blog, brand)

  • No social media

  • Get 8 hours of sleep

These 75 days are about realignment. I’m making God the center again. I’m sharpening my photography. I’m building something I’ve always dreamed of but was afraid to start. I’ve lost sight of what I want — and it’s time to get it back.

What I’m Building

The short version? I’m building my brand.

But it’s more than that. I believe people are craving connection and community more than ever. I’ve felt it in my own life — and I’ve heard it in conversations with others. We’re all searching for something real.

So I’m creating a space where people can connect through shared passions — faith, fitness, and photography. I’m overhauling my website, building side income, and working toward doing this full-time. And I’m documenting the whole process — the wins, the setbacks, the whole journey.

Stick Around

Over the next 75 days, I’ll be posting blogs and laying the foundation. I’ll return to Instagram by the end of June, sharing everything I’ve learned and the challenges I’ve faced.

If you're like me — if you're tired of going in circles, tired of being distracted, and ready to grow — I hope you'll stick around. I promise if nothing else, it will be entertaining :)
