Mostly Wandering, Occasionally Lost, Constantly Curious.

I'm Zach. I'm a photographer, creator, and someone who's learning to slow down and pay attention — to the light, to the landscape, and to what God's doing in my life.

I’ve spent over a decade with a camera in my hand — not chasing perfection, but moments.

I’m drawn to moody landscapes, quiet hikes before sunrise, and the stillness that reminds me I’m not in control — and that’s a good thing. Photography became my way of noticing beauty, being present, and processing life through a lens of faith, wonder, and curiosity.

I don’t just want to take good photos. I want to build something meaningful — something that helps people slow down, reconnect, and remember what matters.

I’m based in Lynchburg, VA — usually with my Jeep pointed toward the mountains.

When I’m not behind the camera, I’m probably in the gym, deep in a podcast or book, or rebuilding something — in my life or with my hands.

I’m currently in the middle of a 75-day challenge to get clear, get real, and build something that lasts. You can read about that here.

“I’ve wandered off course plenty of times — but somehow, it’s leading exactly where I need to go.”
